The consortium of virtuous nautical textiles:
Building a new sector
Our ambition is ecological and societal: to take advantage of climate change to create national wealth.
Faced with growing supply difficulties, sometimes speculative, and thanks to the need to imagine less impactful textiles, we are creating the disruptive materials of tomorrow, while organizing an autonomous and sustainable sector.
Biomass
Nature generates colossal biomass at every moment, without ever stopping: instead of fighting it, we prefer to use its strength.
CSR
We are all actively engaged in a process of responsibility both at the environmental and societal level, because we want to involve them in new economic models.
Energies
Managing energies is obvious, just as we do in our own bodies.
This is our constant approach to improving future profitability.
Waste
For easier management, we have been reducing our waste for a long time: the ultimate step is to make this waste positive and economically recoverable.
Second life
In a coherent world, nothing is lost, everything is transformed: second life and reuse are sources of significant economic value.
Consistency and profitability:
Our solutions

Bio-sourced technical textiles
Grâce à l’expérience et les savoirs faire du consortium acquit dans la course au large et la croisière hauturière, le consortium se diversifie vers d’autres besoins en textiles techniques allant des navires cargos aux textiles pour la santé.
Sail materials for boats
The consortium develops a complete range of sail materials for racing or cruising:
Three market segments are studied:
- Reduced ACV cruise-race
- Bio-sourced (fibers, textiles, resins)
- Compostable or biodegradable
A project rooted in action
To date, 6 years of concrete experiences
Passionate about the sea, we have always sought to reduce our ecological impact.
In 2017, CLM-TRILam began its own tests of Normandy flax fibers in boat sails, and understood that this was possible.
In 2020, four nautical players: All Purpose Sail, the CLM-TRILam company, the Kaïros Environnement design office and the University of South Brittany, joined forces in this ambitious R&D project to work together to " Create less polluting sailing materials".
With a significant acceleration in activity in 2022, our project is moving forward in leaps and bounds, with the added bonus of a successful Vendée Globe 2024 for natural linen fibers in sails.
